This fantastic combination tour allows you to witness the amazing sea-life that inhabits Banderas Bay. First, you'll join our naturalist guide on a zodiac to find wild dolphins to witness their behavior in the wild. Then, after seeing these playful cetaceans cavort in the warm waters of the Bay, you'll travel to the federally protected marine sanctuary of Los Arcos to enjoy an afternoon of snorkeling.
Our English-fluent marine biologists will not only guide you to see dolphins in the wild and snorkel at Los arcos, but will also enlighten you with a brief but fascinating presentation on the biology, behavior and habitat of the Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins, the clowns of the sea.
After a short orientation, you will board a zodiac vessel that was fully-customized for the safe observation of cetaceans, such as dolphins and whales, in the wild. With the assistance of our hydrophone underwater listening device, you can hear the dolphins' underwater communications. And don't worry about jockeying for elbow room inside the watercraft; we keep the tours limited to twelve passengers to make sure everyone can receive personal attention from our accommodating staff.
Banderas Bay is chock full of many different marine species. On this tour, we will do our very best to how you a great variety of the more than two hundred species that inhabit the Bay. We will do our best to show you some of the other cetaceans that may be found in Bahia de Banderas, depending on the season, including Spinner Dolphins, Spotted Dolphins, Humpbacks and False Killer Whales. Throughout the entire year, Dolphins are the most prevalent cetacean found in the Bay. You may even spy a new mother nursing a calf. Pods of these mischievous animals have been known to body-surf alongside the bow of watercraft. They may even leap from the water, providing passengers with a display they will always remember. Other local wildlife that you may view from the boat includes Sea Turtles, Giant Rays, and Waterfowl.
But after observing some of these amazing animals in the waters of Banderas Bay, it is finally time for you to journey to Los Arcos and jump into the water yourself for an afternoon of snorkeling. As you approach the rocky isles of Los Arcos, you'll notice the dramatic profile of these granite monoliths against the horizon. But the rocky cliffs also descend below the water's surface, creating an ideal habitat for a remarkable number of aquatic species. You'll witness a kaleidoscopic scene of prismatic fish darting amongst the rocks and the coral. The unusual underwater rock formations truly make this dive spot a unique and fascinating place to snorkel.

I have been to the Bahamas many times, but Wild Dolphins & Snorkel Combo is one of my favorite trips! It includes everything that everyone should do here. As a Bahamas veteran, I can say only the best about this experience!
Thanks to the professional guides! I was a bit worried about kayaking because I had never done it before, but the instructions were great and I had such a good time!
